It's definitely been awhile since I last blogged. Indeed, I've been busy juggling my life as a working mom, back handling the kids and yeah, being a wife too. I would love to pen down my thought and memories I had for the past few months from my last entry.
2019 have rather been an extra challenging year for me. Kids were down with chicken pox, I had issues with myself such as my emotion, I seems to spend a lot than usual however I take it as a rezeki for my kids.
Alhamdulillah, next week marks my 1 year working at Page Group. No doubt, apart from no company get together bonding, I enjoy working so much. Work-Life-Balance, super understanding colleagues and bosses, great benefits, work is bearable and my workstation is literally my 2nd home.
I've had this career progression conversation with my cousin, whom I looked up to her as she's my mentor and also we share the same profession, just that she's more on the managerical side while I'm more of an assistant. No, I'm not complaining. I love my position right now. I am stress-free EXCEPT for month-end closing which I tend to be super busy but other than that, I am just fine. I get to sent my son to school in the morning before heading to work, which is like less than 20mins away from art and home, I get to go home on the dot, sometimes a little earlier. Somehow along this line, we get paycut but we love the work life balance that were entitled to us. After all, that the line scope of Accounting.
Back to family. My boys are 4 and 1 years old now. Adam is in Kindergarten 1 (K1) now while Adil will join the toddler class in March 2020. Adam enjoy school and that he is happy that he's a grown up boy now. He has also starts his weekend madrasah today. It was his first day and the husband actually sent and fetch him while I clean up the messed house.
Feedbacks from him on his first 2 hours of madrasah that he felt sad at first but enjoy KB1 as he did painting and pasting of colors paper. He's looking forward to madrasah again next week. Oh no! I just remember that next week the husband is on morning shift, which means I have to take the bus to madrasah and take the staircase with Adil in tow.
Nope! Not complaining here again. Just thinking of the struggles of climbing the stairs with a 12kg boy. I should think on the bright side. I should take it as a form of exercise which I never did in the past year.
Truthfully, I am afraid of what's in store for me this year. I am no longer that young, though I am only 30. I'm not really in a healthy state. I have weight issue, hormones issues which result in me being exhausted with almost everything. I am just afraid I am not good enough for my kids. I wonder how my friends and cousin do this.
Weekdays schedule are to n fro work and sending the kids to childcare.
Weekends, also waking up early and sent the kids for extra classes.
Sunday would probably the only day to stay indoors and rest. But sometimes we are out too, for jemputans.
To families and friends, if we didn't attend your wedding event, please do not be sad cause my Sundays are super important for me to rest and recharge & also I can no longer handle 2 boys out in public with 2nd adult supervision after that new year incident. It still haunts me till today and I swear I wouldn't want it to happen ever again.
Husband says that was the 2nd time in our 6-7years of marriage that I called him in my crying tone. Yeap, he panicked.
Will tell the story the next time I open this MacBook. It's 2230hr now and I want to sleep already. Yes! It's still early. I'm old already you see ;)
