Muhammad Adam ; 2 Months Old
Today is 14 January 2016 & it has been 2 months since I gave birth to my Baby Love. Here I am, introducing my bundle of joy, Muhammad Adam Bin Muhammad Farid.
True enough when they say that every single day you will learn something new about your baby. Be it from him adapting well to new environment, his smiles and giggles, his crying or wailing for milk & of course my favourite part here, his sleeping patterns.
During his first few weeks right after he was born, Baby love was a night shift baby who refused to sleeps. I would ended up not sleeping from midnight to probably almost 6am looking after him or shall i say, play with him.
However, his sleeping pattern changed right after he recovered from his circumcision which was the day he turned a month old and a few days.
Boy, I was glad. He sleeps through the night and a soft cry for milk twice in the night, which obviously means I sleep at night too now.
It's been a blessing to have you little man. Ummi will have no idea how to live without you during the day when I am back to work in 2 months times.
Oh! I gotta thank my dear brother & SIL and her families for wanting to celebrate our babies 1st month ceremony or in malay that's what they called 'Majlis Cukur Rambut'. Since both babies has shaved head before it, we had a short doa selamat and yes, thank you relatives for coming and see us. Oh! and those gifts. Thank you very much.
Oh! On a side story, my dearest SIL gave birth to a healthy baby boy just a day after Baby Love. Funny as it may seem, my mom always say "ini kalau bersalin sama hari kan bagus, visit kat hospital sau kali jalan. Bilik pon sebelah sebelah"
Indeed, our hospital rooms were just a few steps away. Even our gynae were the same Dr.
Our little man & no words to describe how precious they are. Of course, my parents were estatic. 2 grandsons at 1 go.
May they grow up to be a great man. Ummi loves you both.
Now that Baby Love has turned 2 months old, his milestones were firstly, he has done his circumcision. You have no idea how nervous I was and even thinking of how to care for him. Thank god for Mother-in-lawn to the rescue. She volunteered to take care of Baby Love and he recovered from it in 4 days, which was obviously FAST.
Secondly, baby love enjoys talking & smiling with his wide mouth open to show that he smiled. Talk to him, play with him & he's a happy baby.
Thirdly, his neck. I read on books & internet that babies will able to hold up their head or straighten their neck when they turn 3 months old. However, Adam did it when he was a month.
I should be positive with his massive advance milestones. Yes, that is my version of my baby Milestone.
Whatever it is, Ummi prays you grow healthy baby.
Until then, it's a month now to #faridfiqah 10 years. Gosh! That means i was in a relationship when I turned 16. Woah...
I am looking forward to the special day with my special people.
