Yup! You saw it right. We are at our 38 Weeks now and I am seriously on standby mode. The past few weeks we had plenty of walking as mention by our doctor that it will make my labour faster and easier. We took a stroll to and fro work, the town over the weekend and walk by the sea the other night. A good 30 mins of walking and I feel like a penguin trying to walk the fast pace like I used to be.
Apart from that, I've been reading about squatting exercise and swimming and of course, plenty of rest. I had my awesome massage the other day and my masseur lady said that baby will be out very soon therefore we prepared our hospital bag.
Just the other night, I dreamt I was in labour ward and I was settling down in my suite while the nurse took out all the needles to poke on my hands for drip & also the screaming of the mommy-to-be in the labour ward nearby and baby cries. The mixed feeling, nervous and scared - you name it. I am not even close to that stage yet.
That morning just after the man left for his morning shift, I talked to my love that we shall do this together! Let's be and stay strong for each other and In Sya Allah, we leave the rest to ALLAH. Keep moving, keep kicking cause that makes me feel happy and yes, obviously I am going to miss these moments ever.
As much as I am looking forward to that day, as for now, let's get some rest and embrace the last few moments before we enter the journey of Parenthood. Would it be end of October baby or November just like me? Thinking and guessing makes it all exciting.
