#faridfiqah 1st Wedding Anniversary
Alhamdulillah, All Praises to the Almighty. We have reached to our 1st year as husband and wife and we are blessed. Alhamdulillah.
Time is really moving fast & it just feel like a few months ago that I went through something they called 'Wedding Madness'. I almost went berserk with all the stress and planning but YES! It's worth it. Of course when the wedding cards reached my doorstep, that's the time I start to get the nervous and stress mode on.
Credits goes to my dearest amigas of 15 years, Syatira Mohd Tahir for designing this wedding card for me.
I still remember the week before my wedding - All I could think of was 'OK! Let's do this once and for all & after this, I am gonna to have my holidays in Phuket and have all the fun & releasing all the stress.'
& now, I wished to rewind the time and do this all over again. Crazy as much as it sounds cause you have no idea how tired and exhausted we are during the wedding week. I had sleepless night cause I just felt that I couldn't sleep. I had my henna drawn on my hands and feet which lasted to almost 3am while watching Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in the room.
Reminiscing those moments; They were the most beautiful memories as I had it all planned and of course, there wasn't such thing called a Perfect Wedding as we are all normal human beings. Alhamdulillah, although there was technical glitch here and there, I had almost everyone taken care of it.
It's been a year now. Life's great to be the wife to Muhd Farid Bin Sani.
Quite a number of hiccups during this period where this one time I had this emotional attack but all is well now. I am building up patience and I am content and blessed with everything that I have and do not have now.
I may not be great wife yet but I am definitely trying to be the best for you. Although truthfully I am not good in cooking but I make the effort to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for you. Even though it doesn't taste as much as ibu & mother's cooking, I am glad you appreciate it.
The fact that I kept our letters in the frame cause I want us to remember the promises we made to each other Even today when I read the letters you wrote to me, I can cry buckets thinking how blessed I am to some a man after my dad & brother to love me for the sake of ALLAH.
Thank You ALLAH. Thank You for making him the IMAM for my prayers and lead me to YOU. Thank You ALLAH for this HAPPINESS and made him my HALAL PRINCE CHARMING.
We are not perfect. Blessed us Ya Rabb. Shine the NUR lights into our life's and gives us the patience that we need to live in this duniya.
I am happy. I am blessed.
