HOT ISSUE - HAZE
It's been almost a week since the haze been around here in Singapore. Thanks to the Sumatra for the burning forest, N95 Mask is sold out here in Singapore just like how Hello Kitty is sold out in McDonalds.
The fact that I cannot see Tampines Mall.
For someone who wears hijab, like myself, and do not own any N95 mask, as mention, its sold out EVERYWHERE, decided to just use the shawl & cover up.
The conversation I had with the husband -
Me: D, I cover up like this, what happen if the police stops me.
The Husband: Merepek la you.
(If you know what I meant by that)
PSI had reached 400, yesterday afternoon at 12pm. It's stated that it's way beyond unhealthy but still, we still have to go out to work. Not that I am complaining but I am thinking about why are we endangering our lives, our health for work. I mean, for my case, I had sore throat and of course, I almost got my asthma attack. It's 400 PSI Rate we're talking here, not 98 or 134. It's 400!
What makes me kinda annoyed and disappointed with the Indonesia Minister is that THEY claimed Singapore is "Behaving Like A Child" over the haze.
Hello! We're behaving like a child? OH COME ON!
People in Singapore is being affected so badly by the burning forest. We had NO clear blue sky to see OR fresh air to breathe in.
I NEED THE FRESH AIR SO BADLY!
I MISSED THE CLEAR BLUE SKY.
I tried to stay indoors most of the time and I refused to walk a long distance cause the air that I'm breathing, is the little particles or should i say the ashes from the forest.
Not that I am complaining. I admit that I might sound like I am complaining about the haze every now and then but, again, I believe all this happened maybe cause ALLAH wants to test our patience to see if we can overcome this situation.
But was upsets & disappoint me is the fact that we were claimed "behaving like a child"
Just be responsible - that's all I'm asking.
May ALLAH protect each and everyone of us.
