Tell me about it. I didn't enjoy my honeymoon period. I was stunned looking at the mountains of papers & trolley of papers (NOTE: this is definately worst than PALL). Speaking of PALL, I missed PALL a lot! Like really a lot.
Wait, don't be mistaken. I missed Pall but never did I missed Si China tu. I rather miss the pantries, the tables and chairs than her.
I've probably been pampered too much by these MNCs (my previous job companies). Latest desktop/laptop, pantries with good drinks (Fruit Tree Juice, Orangina, Fresh brew coffee from the coffee machine, Coke), fruits (kiwis, dragon fruits, peach,apples,bananas), biscuits & tissue boxes.
I didn't get all that in this new place. Not that I'm complaining, its just that, like I say, I've been pampered. Suddenly I have to dig out in search of my pens and pencils.
I missed the President in Pall, John Weiner, FIN dept (exclude Si China), Mak Buyong @ Supply Chain, J.CO, Bubbly Lina, Stationeries, Aunt Pantries, Dr Voon (ran up and own the staircase for his autograph for my PHL Chqs), May Umali from Phl, Alicia the receptionist, the toilets, the staircase where I perform my Zohor & Asar Prayers, the cargo lift and of course SAP & it goes on and on and never stops.
Working in Retail industries is EXTREMELY HARD and PILES of papers eg: 1000 over invoices per month - does not include payment, manual chqs etc. Its been 4 days and I'm still not hands on doing data entries itself. Why? Because I've never used the system before.
Trying to get my hands on the system but was given another task - Liase with Suppliers. Did I tell you I hate calling and answering calls from suppliers?? Tak Favourite!
Lets end the topic about work. Don't wish to stress myself out yet.
Shall return with an entry to sum up the Syawal.
